Dan Caffrey vs Niall Brannon

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/06/2033 from Drogheda, Ireland:

The Drogheda venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dan Caffrey (2 - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Niall Brannon(22 - 23) from Drogheda, Ireland.  

Round 1: 

Brannon closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Brannon feints a jab, and then lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Brannon is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Brannon ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Caffrey pushes his forearm into Brannon's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Caffrey steps away from his opponent.  Brannon attempts to land an overhand left, but Caffrey sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Brannon connects with a right hook.  Brannon holds on to his opponent.  Caffrey leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Brannon is on target with a sharp right uppercut.
