Dave Shiels vs Tommy McRae

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/01/2034 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Shiels (12 - 14) who hails from Hialeah, USA and Tommy McRae(0 - 10) from Oklahoma City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Shiels lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Shiels pivots to the side of his opponent, but McRae lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
McRae lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Shiels finds the target with a jab.

Shiels switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.

McRae connects with a right hook.  McRae tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Shiels hits the target with a hard jab.  
McRae is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  McRae sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

McRae is looking to close the distance and walks Shiels down, trapping him on the ropes.  McRae sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Shiels drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Shiels holds on to his opponent.  McRae leans on his opponent using all his weight. McRae tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Shiels behind the head. 
McRae throws a right uppercut, but Shiels clinches his opponent.  Shiels leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Shiels's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McRae is on target with a right hook.  Shiels ties up his opponent.  McRae is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McRae to stop fouling.  
Shiels hits home with a cross.  
Shiels hits home with a hard jab.  
Shiels switches the action to the outside.  Shiels feints a left hook, and then connects with an overhand right.  
McRae closes the distance.  Shiels hits home with a sharp left uppercut.
