Michi Shimizu vs Ryo Nomura

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/01/2034 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Michi Shimizu (16 - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Ryo Nomura(0 - 4) from Hamamatsu, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Shimizu steps inside and lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Nomura sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Shimizu connects with a right hook.  
Nomura lands a cross.  
Shimizu lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Shimizu gets on the inside and digs in a stinging right uppercut to Nomura's ribcage.  
Shimizu drives a solid jab into his opponents face.  
Shimizu lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Shimizu lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Shimizu forces Nomura to retreat onto the ropes.  Shimizu feints a left hook, and then lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Shimizu lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Nomura gets on the inside.  Shimizu lands a solid right uppercut.  
Nomura connects with a left hook.  
Nomura gets on the inside and throws a right uppercut, but Shimizu clinches his opponent.  Shimizu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Shimizu and breaks the clinch.  
Shimizu is on target with a sharp left hook to Nomura's body.

Shimizu throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Nomura throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.

Nomura is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Shimizu finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Shimizu connects with a stinging left hook.  
Shimizu steps inside and lands a right hook.  
Shimizu lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Shimizu hits home with a right hook.  
Shimizu closes the distance and lands a left uppercut.  
Nomura throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Shimizu gets on the inside and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Nomura throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Shimizu advances into close range.  Shimizu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nomura throws a right hook, but Shimizu holds on to his opponent.  Nomura tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Shimizu's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nomura.

Shimizu is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Shimizu lands a solid right hook.  Shimizu clinches his opponent.  Shimizu uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Nomura's kidney. Shimizu is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Shimizu drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Shimizu lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Shimizu lands with a hard jab.

Shimizu lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Shimizu lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Shimizu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Shimizu tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
