Rodrigo Infante vs Juan Farias

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/02/2034 from Montevideo, Uruguay:

The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rodrigo Infante (12 - 9) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Juan Farias(1 - 0) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  

Round 1: 

Infante feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Infante tries to step out of his opponents range.  Infante quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a solid jab.  
Farias pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.

Farias sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Infante lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a cross to the head.  
Infante switches the action to the outside and is on target with a firm cross to his opponents body.  
Infante steps to the outside.  Infante quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Infante feints a left hook, and then drives a jab into Farias's body.  
Farias closes the distance.  Farias goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Infante's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Infante steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Infante is on target with an overhand right.  
Farias is on target with a right hook.  
Infante tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the body, an overhand right to the head and a jab to the head.  
Infante tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Infante throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Infante is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.
