Atua Panera vs Wayne Gotch

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/02/2034 from Honolulu, USA:

The Honolulu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Atua Panera (8 - 13) who hails from Honolulu, USA and Wayne Gotch(1 - 6(1)) from Detroit, USA.  

Round 1: 

Panera steps inside.  Panera pivots to the side of his opponent, but Gotch lands a right hook.

Panera lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Panera gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Panera pivots to the left of his opponent, but Gotch is on target with a left uppercut.  
Panera cuts off the ring, trapping Gotch on the ropes.  Panera lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Panera is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Gotch tries to land a right hook, but Panera sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gotch attempts to land a right hook, but Panera dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Panera steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Gotch is on target with a cross.  
Panera sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Panera manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Panera circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Gotch connects with a sharp left hook.  
Panera tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Panera tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gotch sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.

Panera drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Gotch lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Panera retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Gotch accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Panera.
