Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/02/2034 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mike Waterston (20 - 9) who hails from Fontana, USA and Lewis Pickar(2 - 6) from Minneapolis, USA.  

Round 1: 

Waterston steps inside and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Pickar attempts to land a left hook, but Waterston slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Waterston advances into close range.  Waterston pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Waterston lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Waterston closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Waterston ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Waterston pushes his forearm into Pickar's face.  The referee warns Waterston and breaks the clinch.

Pickar throws a left hook, but Waterston ties up his opponent.  Waterston leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
