Sam Vaughan vs Waqas Akbar

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/02/2034 from Virginia Beach, USA:

The Virginia Beach venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sam Vaughan (0 - 7) who hails from Buffalo, USA and Waqas Akbar(5 - 12) from Virginia Beach, USA.

Akbar is looking to keep his distance.  Akbar stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Vaughan connects with a cross.  
Vaughan gets on the inside.  Akbar lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Vaughan steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Akbar blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Vaughan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Akbar sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Akbar tries to step out of his opponents range.  Vaughan finds the target with a jab.  
Akbar is looking to close the distance.  Akbar pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Akbar manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Vaughan lands a left uppercut.  Vaughan attempts to land a left hook, but Akbar sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Akbar lands a solid left hook.  
Akbar tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Vaughan finds the target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Akbar's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.
