Boxing Daily Report from the Australia National Finals 2034,  taking place on 11/03/2034 from Canberra, Australia:

The Canberra venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brendan McTaggart (29(5) - 10) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Duncan Gilreath(6 - 9) from Brisbane, Australia.  

Round 1: 

McTaggart digs in a stinging right hook to Gilreath's ribcage.

Gilreath tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
McTaggart advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Gilreath in a neutral corner.  McTaggart lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McTaggart digs in a left hook to Gilreath's body.  
McTaggart quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
McTaggart drives a left hook into his opponents body.  McTaggart ties up his opponent.  Gilreath throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
McTaggart is looking to close the distance and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
McTaggart drives a right hook into Gilreath's body.  McTaggart holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, McTaggart pushes his forearm into Gilreath's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McTaggart to stop fouling.  
McTaggart pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
McTaggart manouvers his opponent into a corner.  McTaggart knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  McTaggart lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND DROPS GILREATH!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Gilreath now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
McTaggart lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Gilreath is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  McTaggart holds on to his opponent.  McTaggart is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks McTaggart's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McTaggart lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
McTaggart lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
McTaggart advances into close range.  McTaggart pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
McTaggart gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

McTaggart lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Gilreath lands a left hook.  
McTaggart lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body, AND GILREATH IS DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is McTaggart!
