Boxing Daily Report from the Chile National Finals 2034,  taking place on 11/03/2034 from Maipu, Chile:

The Maipu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Baltasar Zubia (16 - 23) who hails from Maipu, Chile and Esteban Pavon(7 - 12) from Puente Alto, Chile.

Pavon finds the target with a jab.  Pavon throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Zubia walks Pavon onto the ropes.  Zubia lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Zubia lands with a ramrod jab.  
Pavon pivots to the side of his opponent, but Zubia is on target with a jab.  
Zubia gets on the inside and lands a firm right uppercut.  
Zubia walks Pavon onto the ropes.  Zubia is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Zubia lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Zubia clinches his opponent.  Zubia leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Zubia lands a solid left hook.  
Zubia steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Pavon steps to the outside.  Zubia lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Pavon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Zubia lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Zubia closes the distance and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Pavon sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Zubia is on target with a sharp cross.

Pavon sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Zubia is on target with a powerful right hook to his opponents body.  PAVON IS HURT!  Pavon almost instantly recovers. 
Zubia lands a firm cross.  
Zubia steps inside and digs in a firm left uppercut to Pavon's body.  Zubia ties up his opponent.  Zubia is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Zubia is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Zubia steps inside.  Pavon throws a left hook, but Zubia clinches his opponent.  Pavon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pavon about fouling.  
Zubia is on target with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Pavon's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Zubia slams a mean right uppercut into his opponents body.  PAVON IS HURT!  Zubia goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Pavon time to recover.  Pavon almost instantly recovers. 
Pavon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pavon lands with a stiff jab.  Pavon throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Pavon manages to force Zubia onto the ropes.  Pavon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Zubia lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Zubia is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Zubia closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
Pavon pivots from in front of his opponent.  Pavon tries to land a jab, but Zubia slips the shot and counters with a telling right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE PAVON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Zubia senses Pavon is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Zubia lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES PAVON!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Zubia!
