Liko Chern vs Wen Hsiao

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/03/2034 from Beijing, China:

The Beijing venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Liko Chern (11 - 15) who hails from Beijing, China and Wen Hsiao(1 - 14) from Shanghai, China.  

Round 1: 

Chern lands a right hook.  
Chern connects with a left hook.  
Chern lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Hsiao steps away from his opponent.  Hsiao feints a cross, and then lands a sharp overhand left.  
Chern lands a left hook.  
Hsiao lands a cross to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Chern steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Hsiao is looking to keep his distance.  Chern tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Chern steps inside and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Chern is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.  Chern tries to land a left hook, but Hsiao blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hsiao tries to keep the action at long range.  Chern hits home with a sharp overhand left.

Hsiao switches the action to the outside.  Chern throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

Hsiao tries to keep the action at long range.  Chern lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Chern gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but is off-target.  Chern ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Hsiao pushes his forearm into Chern's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hsiao steps away from his opponent.  Hsiao feints a left, and then is on target with a jab.  
Chern steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Chern lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.  
Hsiao lands with a solid jab.  
Chern closes the distance.  Hsiao throws a right hook, but Chern holds on to his opponent.  Hsiao is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Chern pushes his forearm into Hsiao's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Chern about fouling.  
Chern sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Chern walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Chern hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
Hsiao connects with a left hook.  Chern clinches his opponent.  Hsiao leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hsiao tries to keep the action at long range.  Chern lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Chern is looking to close the distance.  Hsiao hits home with a left uppercut.  
Chern walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Chern lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Chern lands a right hook.  
Hsiao lands a firm cross.

Hsiao pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Hsiao sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Chern finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Hsiao sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Chern digs in a left hook to his opponents body.
