Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2034,  taking place on 26/03/2034 from Kawasaki, Japan:

The Kawasaki venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Aoi Kagawa (23(3) - 14) who hails from Toyohashi, Japan and Yoshi Tokunaga(16 - 13(1)) from Kyoto, Japan.  

Round 1:

Tokunaga is looking to keep his distance.  Tokunaga feints a left, and then lands with a stiff jab.  
Tokunaga cuts off the ring, trapping Kagawa on the ropes.  Tokunaga connects with a left hook.  Kagawa clinches his opponent.  Kagawa pushes his forearm into Tokunaga's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kagawa about fouling.
