Mike Waterston vs Adam Delker

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/03/2034 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mike Waterston (22 - 9) who hails from Fontana, USA and Adam Delker(1 - 4) from Minneapolis, USA.  

Round 1: 

Waterston closes the distance.  Waterston pivots to the side of his opponent and throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Delker to the neutral corner.  He warns Waterston that he could be heading for a point deduction.  
Waterston steps to the outside.  Delker attempts to land a cross, but Waterston slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Waterston closes the distance and connects with a firm left hook.  
Waterston quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Delker throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Waterston gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Waterston steps inside.  Waterston pivots to the right of his opponent.  Delker throws a left hook, but Waterston ties up his opponent.  Waterston is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Waterston to stop fouling.  
Waterston closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Waterston gets on the inside.  Waterston voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Delker is whaling away with hooks, but Waterston keeps his defence tight.  
Waterston connects with a cross.  
Waterston closes the distance.  Delker sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Delker attempts to land a right hook, but Waterston slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Waterston lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Delker advances into close range.  Waterston lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Waterston clinches his opponent.  Waterston pushes his forearm into Delker's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Waterston.  
Waterston lands a left hook.  
Waterston hits home with a right hook.
