The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alano Loureiro (6 - 7) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Charles Jernigan(1 - 9) from Buffalo, USA.

Loureiro steps away from his opponent.  Jernigan tries to land a cross, but Loureiro slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Loureiro hits home with a cross.  
Loureiro is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Loureiro switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  Loureiro attempts to land an overhand right, but Jernigan sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Loureiro gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  
Loureiro is looking to keep his distance and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Loureiro is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Jernigan is on target with a cross.

Jernigan throws a right uppercut, but Loureiro clinches his opponent.  Jernigan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Loureiro is looking to keep his distance and lands with a stiff jab.  
Jernigan gets on the inside.  Loureiro lands a left hook.  
Loureiro steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Jernigan gets on the inside.  Loureiro drives a firm left hook into Jernigan's body.  Loureiro clinches his opponent.  Jernigan leans on his opponent using all his weight. Loureiro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Jernigan closes the distance and manouvers Loureiro onto the ropes.  Loureiro attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Jernigan time to recover.  
Loureiro steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.
