Bart Kathrada vs Quannell Rahman

Boxing Daily Report from the South Africa National Finals 2034,  taking place on 26/04/2034 from Durban, South Africa:

The Durban venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bart Kathrada (24(9) - 20) who hails from Katlehong, South Africa and Quannell Rahman(9 - 12(1)) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  

Round 1: 

Kathrada lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Rahman pivots to the right of his opponent, but Kathrada lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kathrada gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kathrada gets on the inside and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Kathrada advances into close range.  Rahman connects with a left hook.  
Kathrada advances into close range and digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Kathrada drives a left uppercut into Rahman's liver.  
Rahman steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Kathrada blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Rahman lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Kathrada lands a sharp cross.  
Kathrada closes the distance.  Kathrada sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but  attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Kathrada's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Rahman tries to step out of his opponents range.  Rahman sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.  
Kathrada lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Kathrada advances into close range and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Kathrada holds on to his opponent.  Kathrada uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Rahman behind the head. 
Kathrada digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rahman switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  
Kathrada steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rahman tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kathrada gets on the inside and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Kathrada holds on to his opponent.  Kathrada pushes his forearm into Rahman's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kathrada lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Kathrada slams a nasty right hook into his opponents body.  RAHMAN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Kathrada closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Rahman throws a right hook, but Kathrada clinches his opponent.  Rahman is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rahman about fouling.  
Rahman pivots to the side of his opponent and lands with a sharp jab.  
Kathrada closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rahman tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Kathrada manouvers Rahman onto the ropes.  Kathrada lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Kathrada could be enough to finish Rahman!  Kathrada lands a cross to the head followed by two right uppercut's to the body.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  The winner by KO is Kathrada!
