Boxing Daily Report from the Spain National Finals 2034,  taking place on 29/04/2034 from Badalona, Spain:

The Badalona venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alfonso Resendiz (19(7) - 4) who hails from Alicante, Spain and Carlos Marto(14 - 15(1)) from Madrid, Spain.  

Round 1:

Marto steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Resendiz is looking to close the distance.  Marto goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Resendiz's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Marto switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  Marto throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Marto switches the action to the outside and hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Marto drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Marto is on target with a left hook.  Resendiz holds on to his opponent.  Marto throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Marto about fouling.  
Resendiz is on target with a weighty right hook to Marto's ribs.  DOWN GOES MARTO!  He is back up on his feet at 4.

Marto is looking to keep his distance.  Marto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Resendiz attempts to land a jab, but Marto sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Marto is on target with a stiff jab.  
Marto lands a cross.  
Resendiz closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND MARTO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.
