Kamran Assaf vs James Birwinyo

Boxing Daily Report from the Uganda National Finals 2034,  taking place on 29/04/2034 from Gulu, Uganda:

The Gulu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kamran Assaf (19 - 9) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and James Birwinyo(13 - 17) from Gulu, Uganda.  

Round 1: 

Assaf is on target with an overhand right.  
Assaf steps inside.  Birwinyo throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Birwinyo manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Assaf strikes his opponents body with a jab.  Assaf throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Assaf's liver.
