Boxing Daily Report from the Uganda National Finals 2034,  taking place on 29/04/2034 from Gulu, Uganda:

The Gulu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Waqas Khan (13 - 16) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Xhosas Nduhura(8 - 9) from Kampala, Uganda.  

Round 1: 

Khan gets on the inside and digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Nduhura sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nduhura tries to land a jab, but Khan sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Nduhura finds the target with a jab.  
Khan lands a cross.  
Nduhura pivots to the left of his opponent, but Khan is on target with a stinging cross.  
Nduhura tries to keep the action at long range.  Khan lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Khan advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.

Nduhura attempts to land a left hook, but Khan slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Khan closes the distance.  Nduhura throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Khan ties up his opponent.  Nduhura pushes his forearm into Khan's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nduhura to stop fouling.
