Manny Perla vs Joaquin Abar

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/05/2034 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Manny Perla (12 - 14) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Joaquin Abar(2 - 12(1)) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

Perla lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  Perla tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Perla drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Abar closes the distance.  Perla attempts to land a left uppercut, but Abar slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Perla finds the target with a jab.  Perla throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Perla lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Perla lands with a spiteful jab.  
Perla switches the action to the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Perla sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Perla is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Perla hits home with a hard jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Perla's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
