Selestino Limon vs Fausto Cambra

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/05/2034 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Selestino Limon (23(1) - 16) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Fausto Cambra(4 - 5) from Brasilia, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Cambra is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cambra tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but Limon blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Cambra strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Limon closes the distance.  Limon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Limon steps inside.  Cambra throws a right hook, but Limon holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Limon pushes his forearm into Cambra's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cambra pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Cambra switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Cambra throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Limon lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Limon advances into close range.  Cambra tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Limon gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Limon forces Cambra to retreat into a corner.  Limon digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Limon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cambra throws a right uppercut, but Limon clinches his opponent.  Cambra is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Limon lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Limon digs in a solid right hook to Cambra's ribs.  
Limon lands a cross.  
Cambra switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Cambra throws a left hook, but Limon clinches his opponent.  Limon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Limon and breaks the clinch.  
Limon drives a right hook into Cambra's body.  
Limon is looking to close the distance.  Limon sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Cambra digs in a left uppercut to Limon's liver.  
Cambra lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Limon is on target with a firm left hook to Cambra's body.  
Limon drives a left hook into Cambra's liver.  
Limon lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Limon throws a right uppercut, but is unable to find the target.  Limon clinches his opponent.  Limon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cambra switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Limon lands two straights to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Limon closes the distance.  Cambra throws a left hook, but Limon ties up his opponent.  Limon throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Limon throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Cambra throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Limon holds on to his opponent.  Limon uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cambra behind the head. Limon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cambra switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Limon walks Cambra into the red corner.  Limon connects with a sharp cross.  
Limon digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Limon lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Cambra tries to keep the action at long range and lands a spiteful jab.  
Limon walks Cambra into the corner.  Limon drives a stinging left uppercut into Cambra's body.

Limon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and whips in a mean right uppercut to his opponents body.  CAMBRA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Limon digs in a firm left hook to Cambra's body.  
Limon lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Cambra almost instantly recovers. 
Limon lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Limon lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Limon drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Limon connects with a right hook.  
Limon steps inside and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE CAMBRA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Cambra quickly recovers. 
Limon advances into close range.  Cambra throws a left uppercut, but Limon ties up his opponent.  Limon throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Limon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Limon about fouling.  
Cambra tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Limon whips in a nasty right hook to his opponents ribcage.  CAMBRA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Limon!
