Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/10/2034 from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ramirez Aguiniga (19 - 0) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Tae-hwi Han(2 - 25(1)) from Daegu, South Korea.  

Round 1: 

Aguiniga is looking to close the distance.  Han lands a left hook.  
Aguiniga lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Han steps inside.  Han sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Aguiniga lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Han attempts to land a jab, but Aguiniga sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Aguiniga lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Aguiniga is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Aguiniga is looking to close the distance and connects with a firm left hook.  Aguiniga attempts to land a left hook, but Han sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Aguiniga walks Han down, trapping him on the ropes.  Han throws a left hook, but Aguiniga clinches his opponent.  Aguiniga pushes his forearm into Han's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Aguiniga.  
Aguiniga gets on the inside.  Han drives a sharp left hook into Aguiniga's body.  Aguiniga clinches his opponent.  Han is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Aguiniga hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Han steps inside.  Han sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Aguiniga lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Han is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Han forces Aguiniga to back into a neutral corner.  Han connects with a cross.

Aguiniga hits the target with a hard jab.  
Aguiniga steps inside.  Han throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Aguiniga holds on to his opponent.  Aguiniga leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Aguiniga tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Han behind the head. The referee warns Aguiniga and breaks the clinch.

Aguiniga digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Aguiniga steps inside.  Han is on target with a left hook.  
Aguiniga lands a firm left hook.  
Aguiniga lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Han tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Han manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Aguiniga lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Han steps inside.  Aguiniga drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  Aguiniga ties up his opponent.  Aguiniga leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Han is looking to close the distance.  Aguiniga lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Aguiniga lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Aguiniga lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Aguiniga advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Aguiniga attempts to land a left uppercut, but Han slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Aguiniga lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Han recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Han digs in a right hook to his opponents body.

Han hits home with a cross.  
Han closes the distance.  Aguiniga lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Aguiniga knows Han is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Aguiniga lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Han throws a left hook, but Aguiniga ties up his opponent.  Han uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Aguiniga behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  It looks like Han has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Han's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Aguiniga is looking to close the distance.  Aguiniga pivots to the side of his opponent and DETONATES a HUGE left hook on his opponents face.  HAN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Aguiniga!
