Isamu Mase vs John Shumway

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/11/2034 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Isamu Mase (20 - 15(1)) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and John Shumway(4 - 7) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Mase hits home with a firm right hook.  
Mase advances into close range.  Shumway connects with a right hook.  
Mase lands a jab.  
Mase lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Mase closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Shumway pivots to the left of his opponent, but Mase lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Mase quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Shumway walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Mase throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Mase hits home with a left hook.  
Mase manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Mase hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Mase is looking to keep his distance and connects with a stinging cross.  
Mase pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the head, a cross to the body and a jab to the body.  
Mase steps away from his opponent.  Mase sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.

Shumway tries to keep the action at long range.  Mase lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Shumway attempts to land a jab, but Mase slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Mase is on target with a jab.  
Shumway lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Mase lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Mase lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mase switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Shumway sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Mase hits home with a cross.  
Shumway pivots to the left of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a solid cross.
