Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/11/2034 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Daichi Sugawara (9 - 10) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Naoki Yamaguchi(3 - 9) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Yamaguchi lands a jab to his opponents body.

Yamaguchi waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Sugawara connects with a sharp cross.

Sugawara is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but Yamaguchi ties up his opponent.  Yamaguchi uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Sugawara behind the head. As they grapple, Sugawara pushes his forearm into Yamaguchi's face.  The ref breaks Yamaguchi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Yamaguchi sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Sugawara hits home with a cross.  
Yamaguchi switches the action to the outside.  Yamaguchi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a sharp cross.  
Sugawara gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Yamaguchi ties up his opponent.  Yamaguchi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Yamaguchi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sugawara gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Yamaguchi tries to land a jab, but Sugawara slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Sugawara is looking to close the distance.  Yamaguchi tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.
