Greg Jervey vs Scott Denholm

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/11/2034 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Greg Jervey (24 - 10) who hails from Orlando, USA and Scott Denholm(2 - 12) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Jervey lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Jervey tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Denholm steps inside.  Denholm pivots to the side of his opponent, but Jervey connects with a right hook.  
Denholm steps away from his opponent.  Denholm sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Jervey lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Jervey lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jervey is on target with an overhand right.  
Jervey lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Jervey connects with a firm cross.  
Denholm gets on the inside.  Denholm backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Jervey accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Denholm.  
Jervey steps away from his opponent and lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Denholm tries to step out of his opponents range.  Jervey lands a straight 1 - 2.

Jervey throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Jervey lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jervey finds the target with a jab.  
Jervey lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Denholm steps inside and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Jervey holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Denholm pushes his forearm into Jervey's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Jervey tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with an overhand right.  
Jervey sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Jervey tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.  
Jervey throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Jervey holds on to his opponent.  Denholm pushes his forearm into Jervey's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Denholm about fouling.
