Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/12/2034 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Andy Saul (17 - 11) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Ian Murie(0 - 6) from Des Moines, USA.  

Round 1: 

Saul lands a left hook.  Saul tries to land a right hook, but Murie parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Saul gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Saul finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Saul tries to land a left uppercut, but Murie sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Murie lands a left hook.  
Saul is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.

Saul advances into close range and lands a solid right uppercut.  
Saul lands a firm left hook.  
Saul drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.

Saul gets on the inside.  Murie digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Murie hits home with a firm left hook.  
Saul lands a spiteful jab.  
Saul gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Saul is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  Saul ties up his opponent.  Saul is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Saul about fouling.  
Saul gets on the inside.  Murie hits home with a right hook.  
Saul is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Saul is looking to close the distance.  Saul connects with a right hook.  Saul throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Murie to the neutral corner.  He warns Saul that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.

Murie throws a left hook, but Saul holds on to his opponent.  Saul uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Murie's kidney. As they grapple, Saul pushes his forearm into Murie's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Murie's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Saul lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Saul finds the target with a jab.  
Murie manouvers Saul onto the ropes.  Saul finds the target with a hard jab.  
Murie sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.
