Alastair Casey vs Brad Skeldon

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/12/2034 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alastair Casey (11 - 5) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Brad Skeldon(1 - 0) from Jersey City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Casey steps inside.  Skeldon tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Casey walks Skeldon down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Casey is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Casey connects with a solid right hook.  
Casey lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Casey lands a spiteful jab.  
Casey hits home with a left hook.

Skeldon attempts to land a right hook, but Casey parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Skeldon hits home with a firm left hook.  
Casey lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Casey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Casey closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  Casey attempts to land a left hook, but Skeldon sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Casey connects with a right uppercut.  
Casey lands a right hook.  
Casey lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Casey sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into Skeldon's body.  
Casey lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Casey advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Skeldon lands a jab.  
Skeldon sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Casey lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Casey is on target with a firm right hook.  
Casey lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Skeldon tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Skeldon's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Casey lands a stinging left hook.  
Casey lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Casey clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Casey pushes his forearm into Skeldon's face.  The referee warns Casey and breaks the clinch.  
Casey hits home with a right uppercut.  Casey holds on to his opponent.  Skeldon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Casey uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Skeldon behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Casey to stop fouling.  
Skeldon throws a left hook, but Casey ties up his opponent.  Casey leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Casey throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Skeldon digs in a left hook to Casey's body.  Skeldon tries to land a cross, but Casey slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Casey steps inside and throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Casey holds on to his opponent.  Skeldon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Casey's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Casey hits home with a stinging jab.
