Gareth Abrego vs Jake Blevins

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/01/2035 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gareth Abrego (40(6) - 9) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and Jake Blevins(2 - 7(1)) from Las Vegas, USA.  

Round 1: 

Abrego is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Abrego holds on to his opponent.  Abrego pushes his forearm into Blevins's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Abrego about fouling.  
Abrego gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut.  
Abrego forces Blevins to back into the ropes.  Abrego pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Abrego closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Blevins tries to keep the action at long range.  Abrego hits home with a cross.  
Abrego gets on the inside and drives a sharp left hook into Blevins's liver.  Abrego tries to land a right hook, but Blevins sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Blevins pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a sharp cross into Abrego's body.  
Abrego finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Abrego closes the distance and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Abrego walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Abrego quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Blevins is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Abrego is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Blevins is looking to keep his distance.  Blevins sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Abrego hits home with a sharp cross.  
Abrego is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook.  
Abrego manages to force Blevins onto the ropes.  Abrego throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Abrego ties up his opponent.  Abrego leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abrego lands a left hook.  
Abrego lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Blevins switches the action to the outside.  Abrego lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Abrego hits home with a sharp left hook.  Abrego attempts to land a left hook, but Blevins slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.

Blevins throws a right uppercut, but Abrego holds on to his opponent.  Blevins is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Abrego's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Abrego forces Blevins to back into the corner.  Abrego is on target with a right hook.  
Abrego lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
The right shot from Abrego could be enough to force the stoppage!  Abrego is on target with a mean right uppercut.  BLEVINS IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  
Abrego lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS BLEVINS TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Abrego lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND BLEVINS IS DOWN!  The ref does not give Blevins the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Abrego!
