Paul McVicker vs Ethan Paxton

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/01/2035 from Boston, USA:

The Boston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Paul McVicker (2 - 1) who hails from Boston, USA and Ethan Paxton(1 - 7) from Cleveland, USA.  

Round 1: 

McVicker steps inside and drives a firm left hook into Paxton's body.  
McVicker steps inside.  Paxton lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Paxton steps away from his opponent.  McVicker lands a straight 1 - 2.

McVicker cuts off the ring, trapping Paxton on the ropes.  McVicker quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Paxton's body.  
McVicker closes the distance and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Paxton blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
McVicker walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  McVicker hits home with a left hook.  
McVicker lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
McVicker throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  McVicker ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McVicker pushes his forearm into Paxton's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McVicker lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
McVicker is on target with a right hook to Paxton's body.  McVicker holds on to his opponent.  Paxton pushes his forearm into McVicker's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Paxton to stop fouling.  McVicker tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
McVicker is on target with a left hook to Paxton's liver.  McVicker throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Paxton circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  McVicker drives a solid right uppercut into Paxton's ribcage.  
McVicker finds the target with a sharp jab.

McVicker sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Paxton lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Paxton steps to the outside.  McVicker hits home with a cross.  
McVicker closes the distance.  Paxton connects with a solid left hook.  McVicker ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McVicker pushes his forearm into Paxton's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns McVicker.  
Paxton throws a left hook, but McVicker clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
McVicker hits the target with a stinging jab.  
McVicker advances into close range.  Paxton connects with a right hook.  
Paxton hits home with a stinging jab.  
McVicker gets on the inside and hits home with a solid left hook.  
McVicker walks Paxton onto the ropes.  McVicker lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McVicker lands a right hook.  
McVicker lands a solid jab.  
McVicker lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
McVicker advances into close range.  McVicker is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  McVicker lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  Paxton now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

McVicker gets on the inside.  Paxton throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores McVicker's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Paxton's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

McVicker steps inside.  Paxton throws a left hook, but McVicker holds on to his opponent.  McVicker throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns McVicker and breaks the clinch.  
McVicker connects with a right hook.  
McVicker drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
McVicker advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
McVicker lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McVicker hits home with a cross.  
McVicker gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut.  
McVicker advances into close range.  Paxton lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Paxton pivots to the side of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.
