Vegas Cacho vs Takeo Maruyama

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/01/2035 from Sao Paulo, Brazil:

The Sao Paulo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vegas Cacho (15 - 7) who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Takeo Maruyama(1 - 1) from Nagoya, Japan.  

Round 1:

Cacho lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Maruyama cuts off the ring, trapping Cacho on the ropes.  Cacho hits home with a cross.  
Cacho sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Cacho connects with a cross.  
Cacho steps away from his opponent.  Cacho quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a stinging cross.  
Cacho is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Maruyama attempts to land a jab, but Cacho slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Cacho switches the action to the outside.  Cacho feints a right hook, and then is on target with a cross.  
Maruyama gets on the inside.  Maruyama sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Maruyama digs in a firm left hook to Cacho's body.  Cacho holds on to his opponent.  Maruyama tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cacho's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
