Edmundo Colon vs Elias Jaime

Boxing Daily Report from the Dominican Republic National Finals 2035,  taking place on 11/03/2035 from San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic:

The San Pedro de Macoris venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Edmundo Colon (46 - 6) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Elias Jaime(3 - 2) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.

Jaime tries to land a cross, but Colon slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Colon drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Colon ties up his opponent.  Colon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Colon pushes his forearm into Jaime's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Colon about fouling.  
Jaime pivots to the left of his opponent, but Colon lands a right hook, left hook and a jab to his opponents head.  
Colon steps inside and hits home with a right uppercut.

Colon closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Jaime almost instantly recovers. 
Jaime throws a right hook, but Colon clinches his opponent.  Colon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Colon manages to force Jaime into the blue corner.  Colon hits home with a left uppercut.  
Jaime throws a left hook, but Colon clinches his opponent.  Colon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Colon.
