Boxing Daily Report from the Ecuador National Finals 2035,  taking place on 11/03/2035 from Duran, Ecuador:

The Duran venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Juan Soza (2 - 7) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Santiago Picazo(15 - 19) from Quito, Ecuador.  

Round 1: 

Picazo advances into close range.  Soza lands a firm right hook.

Soza is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Soza goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Picazo time to recover.  
Picazo finds the target with a jab.  
Picazo steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Picazo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Picazo cuts off the ring, trapping Soza in the blue corner.  Soza digs in a right uppercut to Picazo's body.  
Picazo pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook to Soza's body.  
Picazo advances into close range and manouvers Soza onto the ropes.  Soza hits home with a firm left hook.  
Picazo is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Picazo lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Soza tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a solid cross.  
Soza gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Picazo's body.  
Soza throws a left hook, but Picazo ties up his opponent.  Soza is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Soza to stop fouling.  
Soza steps to the outside and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Soza steps inside.  Picazo throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Soza's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
