Elliot Ewin vs Sam Bagby

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/03/2035 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Elliot Ewin (25 - 6) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Sam Bagby(0 - 4) from Detroit, USA.  

Round 1: 

Ewin gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Bagby stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Ewin lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ewin gets on the inside.  Ewin throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Bagby's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Ewin advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ewin walks Bagby onto the ropes.  Ewin lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Ewin is on target with a right hook.  
Bagby throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Ewin is on target with a right uppercut to Bagby's body.  
Ewin lands two left uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.

Ewin steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ewin throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Ewin ties up his opponent.  Bagby uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ewin behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Bagby.  
Ewin pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Bagby's body.  
Ewin lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ewin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Bagby's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
