Nao Kikuchi vs Noah Mulligan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/03/2035 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Nao Kikuchi (11 - 7) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Noah Mulligan(2 - 15) from Galway, Ireland.  

Round 1: 

Kikuchi digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Mulligan pivots to the side of his opponent, but Kikuchi drives a left hook into Mulligan's body.  
Kikuchi is looking to close the distance.  Mulligan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kikuchi throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kikuchi hits home with a right hook.  
Kikuchi attempts to land a cross, but Mulligan slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mulligan is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mulligan is on target with a jab to his opponents body.

Mulligan feints a left hook, and then drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.

Mulligan lands a jab.  
Kikuchi advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Mulligan throws a right hook, but Kikuchi ties up his opponent.  Kikuchi tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mulligan's kidney. As they grapple, Mulligan pushes his forearm into Kikuchi's face.  The ref breaks Kikuchi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mulligan lands a stinging jab.
