Alessandro Angello vs Mario Veltroni

The Genoa venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alessandro Angello (1 - 4) who hails from Messina, Italy and Mario Veltroni(15(2) - 3) from Naples, Italy.  

Round 1: 

Veltroni is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Veltroni quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Angello is looking to keep his distance and hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Angello attempts to land a jab, but Veltroni sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Angello lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Veltroni closes the distance and is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Angello steps away from his opponent and is on target with a spiteful jab.

Angello is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a  jab.  
Veltroni digs in a firm right uppercut to Angello's body.  
Veltroni drives a sharp right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Angello tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Veltroni lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Veltroni is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Veltroni lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES ANGELLO!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Veltroni!
