Boxing Daily Report from the Ivory Coast National Finals 2035,  taking place on 26/03/2035 from Bouake, Ivory Coast:

The Bouake venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Boniface Mestrallet (20(1) - 6(1)) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Gower Bel(6 - 31) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  

Round 1: 

Mestrallet tries to land a cross, but Bel blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Mestrallet hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  Mestrallet ties up his opponent.  Bel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Mestrallet is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mestrallet to stop fouling.  
Bel throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Bel is looking to close the distance.  Mestrallet tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Bel drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Bel gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but Mestrallet clinches his opponent.  Mestrallet uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Bel behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mestrallet steps inside and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Bel walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Bel lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Bel closes the distance.  Mestrallet lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Mestrallet is on target with a stinging cross.  
Mestrallet lands with a sharp jab.  
Mestrallet tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mestrallet feints a right hook, and then lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Mestrallet thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Bel away.  Mestrallet lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  Bel now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Mestrallet switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  Mestrallet attempts to land a cross, but Bel slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Mestrallet is on target with a sharp jab.  
Mestrallet is on target with a cross to Bel's body.  
Bel is on target with a right uppercut to Mestrallet's ribs.  
Mestrallet lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Mestrallet gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook.

Mestrallet contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Bel drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Mestrallet sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.
