Jiro Miki vs Jun Maeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/03/2035 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jiro Miki (39 - 7) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Jun Maeda(1 - 1) from Ichikawa, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Maeda is on target with a jab.  
Maeda advances into close range.  Miki lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Miki tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Miki lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Maeda manages to force Miki into the corner.  Miki lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Maeda pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Miki tries to step out of his opponents range.  Miki feints a cross, and then hits home with a stinging overhand right.

Maeda cuts off the ring, trapping Miki on the ropes.  Miki lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Miki tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Miki tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Maeda gets on the inside and walks Miki down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Maeda is on target with a left hook to Miki's body.

Maeda gets on the inside.  Maeda sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Maeda throws a right hook, but Miki clinches his opponent.  Miki pushes his forearm into Maeda's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Miki to stop fouling.  
Miki tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Miki switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Miki is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Miki feints a right, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

Miki lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Miki lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Maeda gets on the inside.  Miki throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Miki holds on to his opponent.  Maeda is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Maeda lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Miki lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Maeda is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  Miki holds on to his opponent.  Miki uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Maeda's kidney. As they grapple, Maeda pushes his forearm into Miki's face.  The referee warns Maeda and breaks the clinch.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Maeda's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
