Roscoe Larsen vs Roth Strackbein

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/03/2035 from Oslo, Norway:

The Oslo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Roscoe Larsen (9(1) - 0) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Roth Strackbein(1 - 7(1)) from Karlsruhe, Germany.  

Round 1: 

Larsen connects with a firm cross.

Strackbein is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Larsen is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Larsen clinches his opponent.  Larsen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Larsen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Strackbein quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Larsen hits home with a firm right hook.

Larsen gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Larsen ties up his opponent.  Larsen tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Strackbein behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Larsen to stop fouling.  
Strackbein steps away from his opponent.  Larsen lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Strackbein sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Larsen digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Larsen lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Strackbein quickly recovers. 
Larsen closes the distance and lands a solid left hook.

Larsen is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm left hook to Strackbein's body.  Larsen clinches his opponent.  Larsen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Larsen pushes his forearm into Strackbein's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Larsen.  
Strackbein switches the action to the outside.  Larsen drives a cross into Strackbein's body.  
Larsen lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Strackbein tries to land a cross, but Larsen sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Larsen advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Strackbein recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Strackbein connects with a right hook.  
Larsen is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Larsen closes the distance.  Larsen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and crashes a hurtful right hook to Strackbein's body.  STRACKBEIN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Larsen is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Strackbein's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Strackbein throws a right hook, but Larsen ties up his opponent.  Larsen leans on his opponent using all his weight. Larsen hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Larsen and breaks the clinch.  
Larsen lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Larsen hits home with a left hook.  
Larsen is on target with a firm left hook.  
Larsen lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Larsen lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Larsen is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Larsen SLAMS a hurtful cross into his opponents face.  STRACKBEIN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Larsen!
