Boxing Daily Report from the Greece National Finals 2035,  taking place on 29/03/2035 from Piraeus, Greece:

The Piraeus venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Erichthonius Vlachos (9 - 13) who hails from Peristeri, Greece and Vasyklo Samaras(34(2) - 5) from Heraklion, Greece.  

Round 1:

Vlachos tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but Samaras slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Vlachos pivots to the left of his opponent, but Samaras lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Vlachos is looking to keep his distance and lands a solid overhand left.  
Vlachos lands a right hook.  
Vlachos tries to step out of his opponents range.  Samaras lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Samaras closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Samaras digs in a stinging left hook to Vlachos's body.  
Samaras is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Samaras digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Vlachos drives a right hook into his opponents body.

Samaras lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Samaras ties up his opponent.  Samaras leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Samaras drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Samaras lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Samaras steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Samaras lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Samaras forces Vlachos to retreat onto the ropes.  Vlachos lands a sharp left hook.

Samaras manages to force Vlachos onto the ropes.  Samaras lands a solid right hook.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Vlachos's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Vlachos is looking to keep his distance.  Samaras hits home with a potent cross.  VLACHOS IS HURT!  
Samaras is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Samaras is on target with a BRUTAL right hook.  VLACHOS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  Vlachos now seems to have got his legs back.  
Vlachos is on target with a jab to Samaras's body.  
Samaras lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Samaras is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Samaras whips in a spiteful right hook to his opponents body.  VLACHOS IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Vlachos now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Samaras lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Samaras lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head, AND DOWN GOES VLACHOS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Samaras!
