Elliot Murrie vs Nick Prentice

Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2035,  taking place on 29/03/2035 from Linden, Guyana:

The Linden venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Elliot Murrie (27 - 14) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Nick Prentice(29 - 23) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Murrie gets on the inside.  Prentice throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Prentice steps away from his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
Murrie steps inside.  Murrie lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Murrie lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Prentice sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a stinging jab into his opponents face.  
Murrie is on target with a jab.  
Prentice attempts to land a cross, but Murrie blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Prentice steps away from his opponent.  Prentice feints a left hook, but Murrie is not fooled and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Prentice steps to the outside and lands a jab.  
Murrie connects with a stinging cross.  
Murrie closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Murrie lands a cross.  
Prentice steps away from his opponent.  Murrie throws an overhand right, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Murrie drives a right uppercut into Prentice's ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Murrie's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.

Murrie pivots from in front of his opponent, but Prentice lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Murrie manages to force Prentice onto the ropes.  Murrie lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Murrie hits home with a cross.  
Murrie steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Prentice accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Murrie.  
Murrie tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a sharp cross.  
Prentice lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Murrie lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Prentice's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
