Darryl Olita vs Morgan Odoi

Boxing Daily Report from the Kenya National Finals 2035,  taking place on 29/03/2035 from Kikuyu, Kenya:

The Kikuyu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Darryl Olita (17(8) - 5) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Morgan Odoi(16 - 15) from Nairobi, Kenya.  

Round 1: 

Odoi tries to land a right hook, but Olita sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.

Olita closes the distance and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Olita forces Odoi to back into the ropes.  Olita lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.

Odoi manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Odoi sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Odoi attempts to land a jab, but Olita dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Olita advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Olita quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Olita knows Odoi is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Olita slams a big right uppercut into Odoi's ribs.  ODOI IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Odoi has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Odoi throws a right uppercut, but Olita holds on to his opponent.  Odoi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Olita's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Odoi drives a solid jab into his opponents face.  
Olita lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Olita forces Odoi to back into the ropes.  Olita is on target with a right hook to Odoi's body.  
Olita lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Odoi drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Olita throws a left hook, but is off-target.  Olita holds on to his opponent.  Olita pushes his forearm into Odoi's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Olita about fouling.

Olita closes the distance and throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Olita clinches his opponent.  Olita leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Olita is on target with a telling left hook to his opponents body.  ODOI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Odoi quickly recovers. 
Olita advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Olita is on target with a sharp right hook to Odoi's body.

Olita advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Olita ties up his opponent.  Olita leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Odoi pushes his forearm into Olita's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Odoi about fouling.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Odoi's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
