Boxing Daily Report from the Peru National Finals 2035,  taking place on 11/04/2035 from Lima, Peru:

The Lima venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jaguar Calvo (6 - 19) who hails from Lima, Peru and Santiago Montoro(1 - 6) from Lima, Peru.

Montoro steps to the outside.  Montoro sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Montoro is on target with a firm cross.  Montoro throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.

Calvo digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  Montoro clinches his opponent.  Calvo pushes his forearm into Montoro's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Calvo about fouling.  
Calvo closes the distance.  Montoro drives a left hook into Calvo's ribs.  Montoro ties up his opponent.  Calvo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Montoro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
