Boxing Daily Report from the USA National Finals 2035,  taking place on 29/04/2035 from Oxnard, USA:

The Oxnard venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gethin Mortimer (12(4) - 9) who hails from Boston, USA and James Bour(10 - 15) from Charlotte, USA.

Bour throws a left hook, but Mortimer holds on to his opponent.  Bour pushes his forearm into Mortimer's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bour to stop fouling.

Mortimer is looking to keep the action on the outside and strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Mortimer snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Bour advances into close range.  Mortimer is on target with a solid right hook.  
Bour pivots to the right of his opponent.  Bour tries to land a right uppercut, but Mortimer dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Mortimer is looking to keep his distance.  Bour lands a solid cross.  
Bour closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Mortimer clinches his opponent.  Bour leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Mortimer contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Bour tries to land a cross, but Mortimer dodges the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Bour is looking to close the distance.  Bour pivots to the right of his opponent.  Bour tries to land a left hook, but Mortimer blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Bour's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Mortimer gets on the inside.  Bour digs in a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Bour lands a firm left uppercut.  
Mortimer switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Mortimer is on target with a jab.  
Bour closes the distance.  Bour pivots from in front of his opponent, but Mortimer lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Mortimer thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Bour away.  Mortimer lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Mortimer stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Mortimer lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND SENDS BOUR TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Mortimer!
