Juan Menendez vs Keegan Jeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/05/2035 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Juan Menendez (24 - 8) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Keegan Jeda(1 - 0) from Graz, Austria.  

Round 1: 

Menendez steps to the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Menendez steps inside.  Menendez throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Jeda's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Menendez manouvers Jeda onto the ropes.  Menendez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Menendez lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Jeda switches the action to the outside and strikes his opponents body with a jab.

Menendez backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Jeda accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Menendez.  
Jeda is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Menendez is on target with a cross.  
Jeda is looking to keep his distance.  Menendez attempts to land a jab, but Jeda dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Menendez closes the distance and connects with a left uppercut.  
Menendez closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Menendez is on target with a firm jab to Jeda's body.
