Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/05/2035 from Paris, France:

The Paris venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vermont Mauriac (5 - 7) who hails from Paris, France and Xebec Barbusse(0 - 5) from Tours, France.  

Round 1: 

Mauriac closes the distance and connects with a right uppercut.

Barbusse throws a left hook, but Mauriac ties up his opponent.  Mauriac uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Barbusse's kidney. 
Mauriac gets on the inside and connects with a left uppercut.  Mauriac holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mauriac pushes his forearm into Barbusse's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mauriac.  
Mauriac lands a left hook.  
Barbusse connects with a cross.  
Mauriac walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mauriac pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Mauriac connects with a right hook.  
Mauriac attempts to land a right hook, but Barbusse blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Barbusse throws a right uppercut, but Mauriac holds on to his opponent.  Mauriac leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Mauriac throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head.
