Joe Leishman vs Joshua Ewens

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/05/2035 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joe Leishman (19 - 7) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and Joshua Ewens(0 - 14) from Boston, USA.  

Round 1: 

Leishman lands a jab to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Leishman steps away from his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Ewens connects with a left hook.  
Leishman lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a jab to the head.  
Leishman steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Leishman sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Ewens walks Leishman onto the ropes.  Leishman digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Leishman's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
