Alastair Casey vs Andy Coll

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/05/2035 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alastair Casey (16 - 6) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Andy Coll(0 - 1) from Pittsburgh, USA.  

Round 1: 

Coll lands a jab.  
Casey is on target with a firm left hook.  
Casey gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Casey throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Coll walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Coll stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Casey lands a jab.  
Coll connects with a right hook.  
Casey advances into close range and lands a left hook.  Casey ties up his opponent.  Coll uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Casey's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Coll.

Casey closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Coll's body.  
Casey advances into close range.  Casey pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Coll feints a left, and then attempts to land a cross, but Casey sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.

Casey is on target with a sharp left uppercut.  
Coll is on target with a left hook.  Casey ties up his opponent.  Casey pushes his forearm into Coll's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Coll lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Casey is looking to close the distance and lands a firm left hook.  
Casey digs in a stinging right hook to Coll's ribs.  
Coll tries to land a left hook, but Casey sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Casey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook to Coll's body.  
Coll throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Casey clinches his opponent.  Casey throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Coll gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Casey clinches his opponent.  Casey is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Casey's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Casey connects with a cross.  
Casey connects with a left uppercut.  
Casey steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Casey hits home with a sharp left hook.  Casey goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Coll time to recover.  
Casey lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Coll throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Casey closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.
