Scott Lourie vs Rob Craggs

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/05/2035 from Huntsville, USA:

The Huntsville venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Scott Lourie (6 - 2) who hails from Des Moines, USA and Rob Craggs(1 - 12(1)) from Huntsville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Lourie advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Lourie lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Craggs lands a sharp jab.  
Lourie pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lourie gets on the inside.  Lourie pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.

Craggs is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a jab, but Lourie sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Craggs is looking to keep his distance and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Craggs walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Craggs hits home with a left uppercut.  
Lourie is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into Craggs's ribs.  
Lourie closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Lourie connects with a right uppercut.  
Lourie lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lourie sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Lourie throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Craggs time to recover.  
Lourie strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Craggs pivots from in front of his opponent and lands with a stinging jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lourie's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
