Mark Tennant vs Wu-pen Shaw

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/06/2035 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Tennant (13 - 26) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Wu-pen Shaw(3 - 4) from Xian, China.  

Round 1: 

Tennant steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Shaw pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Tennant's body.  
Shaw connects with a left hook.  
Tennant steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Shaw walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Shaw is on target with a jab.  
Shaw is looking to close the distance.  Shaw pivots to the side of his opponent.  Shaw throws a right hook, but Tennant clinches his opponent.  Shaw is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Shaw and breaks the clinch.

Tennant sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Shaw steps inside.  Shaw sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Tennant advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tennant is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a solid jab.  
Shaw quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Tennant is on target with a left hook.  
Tennant switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Shaw attempts to land a cross, but Tennant slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Tennant steps inside.  Tennant sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Tennant throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Tennant holds on to his opponent.  Tennant tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Shaw behind the head. Tennant uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Shaw behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tennant about fouling.

Shaw is looking to close the distance and manouvers Tennant onto the ropes.  Shaw pivots to the side of his opponent.  Shaw lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Tennant holds on to his opponent.  Shaw leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tennant is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.

Tennant steps away from his opponent.  Shaw attempts to land a cross, but Tennant parries the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Tennant steps to the outside and hits home with a stinging cross.
