Alejandro Antolin vs Guillermo Melgarejo

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/06/2035 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Antolin (9 - 1) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Guillermo Melgarejo(1 - 1) from Río Cuarto, Argentina.  

Round 1: 

Antolin advances into close range.  Antolin pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Melgarejo digs in a right uppercut to Antolin's ribcage.  
Melgarejo hits home with a right hook.

Antolin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Antolin goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Melgarejo time to recover.  
Melgarejo tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.
