Jeraldo Vidal vs David Bugh

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/07/2035 from Montevideo, Uruguay:

The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jeraldo Vidal (7 - 20) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and David Bugh(2 - 13) from Indianapolis, USA.  

Round 1: 

Vidal closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Vidal holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Bugh pushes his forearm into Vidal's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bugh about fouling.  
Bugh switches the action to the outside.  Bugh feints a cross, but Vidal does not fall for it and responds with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Vidal steps inside.  Vidal sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Vidal closes the distance.  Bugh hits home with a left uppercut.  
Bugh feints a right, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Vidal sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Vidal throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Vidal clinches his opponent.  Vidal pushes his forearm into Bugh's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Vidal.  
Vidal cuts off the ring, trapping Bugh on the ropes.  Vidal lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Vidal advances into close range and lands a firm left hook.  
Bugh connects with a left hook.  Bugh throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Vidal advances into close range.  Vidal pivots to the left of his opponent.  Bugh attempts to land a right hook, but Vidal slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Vidal closes the distance.  Vidal sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Vidal throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Vidal ties up his opponent.  Vidal pushes his forearm into Bugh's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Vidal to stop fouling.  
Vidal advances into close range and hits home with a stinging right hook.  Vidal ties up his opponent.  Vidal leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Vidal's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Vidal closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Bugh sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Vidal lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Vidal steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.

Vidal lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Bugh throws a right hook, but Vidal clinches his opponent.  Vidal uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Bugh behind the head. The referee warns Vidal and breaks the clinch.  
Vidal closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
Vidal advances into close range and manouvers Bugh onto the ropes.  Vidal sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Vidal lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Vidal clinches his opponent.  Vidal is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Vidal is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging right hook.  Vidal throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Bugh tries to step out of his opponents range.  Vidal is on target with a jab.  
Bugh quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bugh throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Bugh's ribcage.  
Vidal manouvers Bugh onto the ropes.  Vidal lands two right uppercut's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Vidal lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Vidal lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Vidal clinches his opponent.  Vidal leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Vidal's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Vidal lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Bugh's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Vidal lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Bugh quickly recovers.
