Bryan Glasby vs Henry Pickens

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/07/2035 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bryan Glasby (22 - 17) who hails from Henderson, USA and Henry Pickens(1 - 14) from Mobile, USA.  

Round 1: 

Glasby advances into close range.  Glasby pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Pickens lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Glasby walks his opponent into the corner.  Pickens throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Glasby lands a jab.  
Pickens lands a right uppercut.  
Pickens lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Pickens attempts to land a cross, but Glasby blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Glasby lands a stiff jab.  
Glasby closes the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Pickens attempts to land a jab, but Glasby slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Glasby tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Pickens switches the action to the outside.  Glasby hits home with a cross.  
Pickens manouvers Glasby onto the ropes.  Glasby is on target with a jab.  
Glasby leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Pickens is whaling away with hooks, but Glasby keeps his defence tight.  Pickens hits home with a left hook.  
Glasby advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Glasby digs in a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Glasby lands a sharp jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Glasby's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.
